that is intense Steve, great job, doing that on less than 600 miles this year is amazing. and a very well written report, you should be an author, I bet you could get published. just write about running though, not biomedical (yawn) informatics.

Thanks for the ride Steve. You are now an ultramarathoner. You did great for your first 50 miler. When I said the you look great as I passed you, I was serious. Great job.

Congratulations on a great run. That is a tough course. Sorry I didn't get to meet you at the finish. It was sure a beautiful day out there, wasn't it?

Congratulations, Steve. Coming that close to your goal time on your first 50 miler is amazing. Excellent work.

Way to go, great time. Good to see you out there. So on Elephant Head they didn't make you go clear to the end of the trail? I think the aid station guys goofed because Jim had told me to go to the end of the trail. I did both times.

If I were Brent, I'd give you major commando points. Awesome job! 10 minute pace for 50 miles??!! That's crazy good. I hope you're resting it up now.

Thanks, guys!

Davy, I went to the end of Elephant Head and got the sticker from the guy there. The place i got confused on was where you had to run out to that porta-potty at about mile 21. I'm guessing someone was supposed to be there to tell me to turn around, but maybe he was using the porta-potty. :)

Way to go.

Great job! That's a great accomplishment just to finish. Congrats on just beating the 10 min guy too. That's a great time.
